- Our programs do not require prior healthcare experience. We are open to all students that are willing to learn! It starts here
What are the prerequisites for a VN program and MA Program?
- All programs require HS diploma, GED or equivalent, as well as an entrance exam. VN Students must pass the ATI TEAS-7 and MA students must pass the Wonderlic.
What subjects are covered in an VN program?
- Our wide range of courses include nursing fundamentals, anatomy and physiology, pharmacology, medical-surgical nursing, pediatrics, obstetrics, and mental health nursing.
What subjects are covered in an MA program?
- Courses usually include medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, medical billing and coding, pharmacology, clinical procedures, and patient care.
Are there certification exams for MAs?
- Yes, certification exams like the CMA (Certified Medical Assistant) or RMA (Registered Medical Assistant) can enhance job prospects, though they are not always required.
What exam do I need to pass to become an VN?
- Graduates must pass the National Council Licensure Examination for Practical Nurses (NCLEX-PN) to become licensed.
